Join the DNC and Charlotte In 2012 on September 6 to Mark One Year Out!

A Year Out kick-off event will take place at Time Warner Arena in uptown Charlotte on September 6, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until noon as the Democratic National Committee and Charlotte In 2012 Host Committee gear up to convene over 35,000 visitors from around the nation and world in just over 365 days!
Democratic National Committee Convention Chair Steve Kerrigan and DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz will be joined by Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx to set forth a vision for the Convention, describe involvement opportunities together with programs for youth to get connected, and unveil a new logo for the Convention.
Mayor Foxx will also issue a call to action to the community to create a Build A Legacy of opportunity in the community, leveraging the momentum from the Convention to meet key challenges in Charlotte.
